My child is a private candidate. Why should quadratics come first?
Because quadratics underpin much of 0606, so a private candidate who builds them solidly makes the rest of the self-study far smoother. The discriminant returns in tangency and circles, completing the square drives calculus max/min, and quadratic inequalities appear inside kinematics.
