Sayfol International School is a long-established, internationally diverse school in Kuala Lumpur, and its students sit the same Cambridge IGCSE Add Math (0606) papers as everyone else. Pathways do shift from year to year, so check the current Add Math route with the school before planning around it. This page is for Sayfol families wanting independent 1-to-1 help with 0606, we’re not affiliated with the school.

Foundations first, where they’re needed

An internationally mixed intake means some students arrive at IGCSE from different education systems, and 0606 quietly assumes solid algebra, indices and surds. Where a foundation gap exists, more Add Math practice on top of it helps little, the honest first step is to shore up the base. We diagnose this in the trial class and, if needed, rebuild foundations alongside current topic work, rather than papering over them. For students whose foundations are already solid, the work moves straight to method and exam technique.

How the online 1-to-1 works

Classes are online, no KL commute, with a 0606 specialist vetted by our founder, aligned to the school’s order, with past-paper practice on top. Rate is RM80–90/hr in 1.5-hour sessions.

Common questions

Is this affiliated with Sayfol?
No. We're an independent online tutoring service that supports Sayfol students (and students at many other KL schools) with Cambridge IGCSE Add Math 0606, working alongside the school's teaching rather than replacing it.
My child came to IGCSE from a different system. Can you fill the gaps?
Yes. Students who join an international-school stream from another curriculum sometimes have foundation gaps, in algebra or surds, that 0606 assumes. We diagnose those in the trial class and build them in parallel with current Add Math work.
