Perak Tutor Jobs: Teach 0606 from Home

Teaching 0606 from Perak

A tutor in Perak who knows when Perak schools run their mock exams and holidays can plan revision around them. That local sense is a bonus; the 0606 paper itself is the same everywhere.

We serve families in 3 cities in Perak: Ipoh, Taiping and Teluk Intan.

The work

Classes are 1-to-1 on video with a shared whiteboard. You correct the student's working live, set and mark work between classes, and in exam season move the student onto timed past-paper practice.

Who we are looking for

We value patience as much as mathematics. A student who has been stuck on logarithms for a month needs someone calm enough to find the one misunderstanding underneath it.

• Willingness to be observed teaching by our founder and to teach our shared, exam-focused method.
• A stable internet connection, a quiet space, and a way to write working live (a tablet with stylus or a graphics tablet).

The full requirements are on the role page.

Pay and roles

From RM80/hr, subject to experience and availability. Each new student's 1-hour trial class is paid at your normal rate. The role is freelance and part-time: you teach the weekly hours you offer. Read the full part-time role.

Schools our families in Perak attend

We publish guides for parents at these schools, which give a sense of the students you would teach:

• Tenby Schools Ipoh
• Westlake International School
