Sabah Tutor Jobs: Teach 0606 from Home
For tutors in Sabah, Sabah, the commute to work is the walk to your desk. Every class is online and 1-to-1, and the students arrive through us.
Teaching 0606 from Sabah
A tutor in Sabah who knows when Sabah schools run their mock exams and holidays can plan revision around them. That local sense is a bonus; the 0606 paper itself is the same everywhere.
We serve families in 3 cities in Sabah: Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan and Tawau.
The work
Expect to teach across all 14 syllabus topics, from functions and quadratics to calculus and vectors, and to train both papers, including the non-calculator Paper 1.
Who we are looking for
You do not need a teaching certificate to apply. You do need to pass our mark-scheme check and an observed teaching session, because that is the same bar every tutor on our bench has cleared.
- Mark-scheme fluency: you know where method (M), accuracy (A) and independent (B) marks are earned, and you teach students to write working that collects them.
- Genuine fluency in the Cambridge IGCSE Additional Mathematics 0606 syllabus, across all 14 topics and both papers.
The full requirements are on the role page.
Pay and roles
From RM80/hr, subject to experience and availability. Each new student's 1-hour trial class is paid at your normal rate. The role is freelance and part-time: you teach the weekly hours you offer. Read the full part-time role.
