Teaching 0606 from Sarawak

Many of the families we hear from in East Malaysia have children in international or private schools, plus some homeschoolers entering 0606 as private candidates. Tutors who understand both routes are especially useful.

We serve families in 4 cities in Sarawak: Bintulu, Kuching, Miri and Sibu.

The work

You teach on video with a shared whiteboard, keep short notes on each student's progress, and send parents a brief update so they know what changed this week.

Who we are looking for

The applicants who stand out from Sarawak tell us specifics in the open question at the end of the form: the topics they explain best, the levels they have taught and what their students went on to achieve.

• Confident teaching for the non-calculator Paper 1, including exact values and surd and index work that 0606 treats as assumed knowledge.
• Clear, patient explanation for one student at a time, on video with a shared whiteboard.

Pay and roles

From RM80/hr, subject to experience and availability. Each new student's 1-hour trial class is paid at your normal rate. The role is freelance and part-time: you teach the weekly hours you offer. Read the full part-time role.
