Teaching 0606 from Segamat
Segamat is in the far north of Johor, close to the Negeri Sembilan and Melaka borders and a long way from the tuition centres in Johor Bahru. A tutor based here and teaching 0606 online spares families in northern Johor a demanding drive on school nights.

The work
Classes are 1-to-1 on video with a shared whiteboard. You correct the student's working live, set and mark work between classes, and in exam season move the student onto timed past-paper practice.
Who we are looking for
We value patience as much as mathematics. A student who has been stuck on logarithms for a month needs someone calm enough to find the one misunderstanding underneath it.
- Confident teaching for the non-calculator Paper 1, including exact values and surd and index work that 0606 treats as assumed knowledge.
- Clear, patient explanation for one student at a time, on video with a shared whiteboard.

Pay and roles
From RM80/hr, subject to experience and availability. Each new student's 1-hour trial class is paid at your normal rate. The role is freelance and part-time: you teach the weekly hours you offer. Read the full part-time role.
