Kuala Lumpur Tutor Jobs: Teach 0606 from Home
This page is for tutors based in or near Kuala Lumpur. The work is fully online, so being local is not a requirement, but we like knowing the schools and the school calendar our students in Kuala Lumpur live by.
Teaching 0606 from Kuala Lumpur
Students in the Klang Valley follow the same Cambridge 0606 syllabus and sit the same papers as everyone else, so what we test is your grip on the syllabus and the mark scheme, not your postcode.
We serve families in 9 cities in Kuala Lumpur: Ampang, Bangsar, Bukit Jalil, Cheras, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, Mont Kiara, Sentul and Setapak. Schools named on those pages include Sri KDU International School, Garden International School, Alice Smith School and Fairview International School.
The work
You teach on video with a shared whiteboard, keep short notes on each student's progress, and send parents a brief update so they know what changed this week.
Who we are looking for
Whether you teach in a Kuala Lumpur school now, tutor privately or recently finished a mathematics-heavy degree, the test is the same: can you teach 0606 so the marks follow.
- A stable internet connection, a quiet space, and a way to write working live (a tablet with stylus or a graphics tablet).
- Willingness to be observed teaching by our founder and to teach our shared, exam-focused method.
The full requirements are on the role page.
Pay and roles
From RM80/hr, subject to experience and availability. Each new student's 1-hour trial class is paid at your normal rate. The role is freelance and part-time: you teach the weekly hours you offer. Read the full part-time role.
