Subang Jaya Tutor Jobs: Teach 0606 from Home

Teaching 0606 from Subang Jaya

Subang Jaya runs on education, with Sri Kuala Lumpur in SS5, Asia Pacific Schools by the LDP and the long-running SS15 tuition strip. Add Math help is everywhere here, but 0606-specialist help is thinner than the signboards suggest, which is where our tutors come in.

Distance stopped mattering the day our classes went fully online. What matters to a student in Selangor is whether their tutor can turn a page of half-right working into full marks.

Subang Jaya is one of 15 Selangor locations we serve, alongside Bandar Baru Bangi, Bandar Sunway, Bandar Utama, Cyberjaya and Gombak and others. Our Subang Jaya page names Taylor's International School Puchong, Sri Kuala Lumpur and Asia Pacific Schools among the schools local families attend.

The work

A typical week means teaching assigned students in fixed weekly slots, marking the working they send in, and preparing from past papers and mark schemes so each class targets where marks are being lost.

Who we are looking for

We look for tutors who can explain why a step earns a mark, not just get the right answer. Where you teach in Selangor today matters less than how you teach.

• Confident teaching for the non-calculator Paper 1, including exact values and surd and index work that 0606 treats as assumed knowledge.
• Clear, patient explanation for one student at a time, on video with a shared whiteboard.

The full requirements are on the role page.

Pay and roles

From RM80/hr, subject to experience and availability. Each new student's 1-hour trial class is paid at your normal rate. The role is freelance and part-time: you teach the weekly hours you offer. Read the full part-time role.
